How to prepare for an Amazon product photography shoot

• Do your research. Understand your product, competition and the audience you are selling to. What is your product used for?  The product photo needs to describe this immediately. 

• Have a list of the images you require including the white background shots and how many angles of each product you want.  Think about if you want images with props, images showing macro details of the product or styled images.

• Chat with us about styled images and how to get the best cost-effective results. We recommend getting together some reference images to show us too.  You can include talent but this will incur additional costs.  

• Prepare your product. Ensure you have your product before you make a booking. Sometimes manufacturing holds up the process. Check your product before the shoot. Check the colour, label, stitching everything to ensure it's as you wanted it to be. Often there are defects that we can fix if we know they are there. Ensure your product is clean and ready to be photographed.

• Talk to us about the benefits of coming to the shoot and seeing what goes on behind the scenes. You are welcome to come along! In fact, we encourage it. We also have a drop off/pick up service catering for those who need it.

Minimum Product photography package - $660+gst

The minimum product photography package includes:

• Our professional photographer and photographic equipment for up to 3 hours

• No limit on the quantity of images client wants to keep

• Studio hire at Gale Street Studios in East Brunswick

• Editing and post-production on the chosen images ready for you to use

• License-free to use the images for as long as you like with no time restrictions

• A web gallery to view and approve your images before payment

• Final images sent in both web and print format delivered via our fast file transfer service

• File security - your images are backed up and safely stored with us
